biped actor skinning problems
#1
hi there,

i'm trying to setup a massive crowd simulation but i'm new to crowd sim in general.
but first things first.
so i started with a simple rigged character and some biped animations.
the first problem is, that the skin gets very distorted when if i set it to more than one.
and if the animation frame range node is set to loop and some variation

second question is, if its possible to use locomotion animations or only in place?

lots of things to learn...

the final goal is something like this with ragdoll and more different animations.

the fluid like movement of the massive crowd is more important than things like intersections between the actors.

Those skinning problems are odd....can you send the file to support@tyflow.com so I can take a look?

i found a solution.
if the mesh is not absolute "clean" (no scaling etc.) than the crowd biped makes weird things.
but a reset xform and convert to edit poly seems to do the trick.
