Cloth - Moving Binding
#1
Hi I'm looking to create an effect where a piece of cloth is essentially following a moving target.

I was thinking I could do this by binding a corner of a piece of cloth, such as a rectangle to a point/piece of geometry, and then animate that point around the space, making the cloth follow it.

Is that possible? If so is there something specific I need to do?

I have the flag example scene, but couldnt seem to animate the points that the flag is bound to.

Any help greatly appreciated.

There is also cloth scene example when sphere is tearing up the cloth.
In there, you can see how cloth is linked to the dummies.
Those dummies can be animated.

Hey dude,

Thanks for the hint,

I've tried animating the dummies, but doesnt make any difference.
I've tried adjusting the timing constraint to be continuos as thought that might be the reason.
Does yours change straight away?

**EDIT
Ok, looks like i needed to add an Object bind, that now follows the point.
