bransh and change of timestep

hi
following a tutorial regarding condense on a bottle..

after making "streaks" that follow the main drop and change the timestep from frame to 1/2 or 1/4 or anything other then frame result in that some of the "streaks" runs infront of the main drop... 
Setting timestamp back to frame fix it again.. I can reproduce this over and over one several scenes..
