Vray GPU motion blur Error
#1
Hi, I've read a lot of posts about vray and motion blur but did not found a solution.
Maybe is a vrayGPU problem and not tyflow.

I've exported a simulation in tycache and i've loaded it in scene.
If I understand correctly the mesh need to be set to insances both in viewport and rendering rollout of tycache ( i've also tried disabling it but the error is the same ).

Basically it render 1 or some frames than display this error:

[VRayRTMax::Render] generated an exception. Aborting.

Am I doing something wrong inside tyflow or is this the correct workflow and simply is a vray related problem?

Do the mesh operator option have any connection with what Export operator does? I mean in terms of instances?
Now i'm trying with a cache where there were not mesh operator and nothing change, same error.

I'm using tyflow 1.008 PRO and vray gpu 6.00.06
1.008

Nvidia Geforce RTX 3090 with latest driver, max 2022

With Vray cpu all works.

Thanks for helping

Hi, i forgot to say that i' ve also a retime in the Tycache.

Now I change the VrayCamera parameter shutter speed and it seams to work with no problem i've tried also to put again the old value and no more error.
It has already rendered 30 frames.

Probably is a Vray problem i think.

Am I doing right for the Tyflow set up? is this the correct way?

Thanks

Animation finished, not really good in reality, do not know why but every 5 frame it render one frame wrong than keep going with correct frame.

Here two example of the same frame.

In viewport is correct and also if i rerender as single frame is ok.
If i set max to render every 5th frame it render wrong again.
Any idea on what i am doing wrong or what can casuse all this strange problem.

Now i will also try to reinstall Vray and update to the latest release.

Attached the 2 frames

No problems without motion blur or with CPU

Thanks

For now it seems that the only solution is using a max physical camera instead of the vray one.

Has anyone else has the same problem?

Thanks

GPU-mode rendering of tyFlow was implemented by Chaos Group...so all bugs or issues need to be sent to them Smile

Thanks for the explanation,
i'm pretty noob so I do not know if i'm doing something wrong, is a tyflow issue or Vray.
Thanks for pointing it out.
I will do as you suggest.
