Density by texture (not working?)
I am trying to control the density of my Position Object particles with a simple gradient map. I've tried many options but can't get it to work. 
I'm attaching a screenshot which shows the distribution object as well as the particles generated. Any ideas?

I look for a solution on this aswell
Have you turned on "density by texture" in your position object operator?
Why is on "edges all" mode, why not face? Do you want them on edges?
