The "Inherit from reference" error is caused by the material ID in the "Grow_Ivy" op
#1
HI,Tyson!
I found a problem recently. Strictly speaking, this is not a "bug", but a logic problem.
When I replace "IVY" with my own defined object, I choose to inherit the material (the original object is a multi-dimensional sub material). I found that it was impossible to inherit. After checking, I found that it was because the "Grow" operator defined many material IDs for particles in advance (if you don't understand what I said, please see the attached figure). When the ID is defined here, my customized object cannot inherit the material of the original object. Please check this problem.
If you can't understand what I mean, please check the file I uploaded to check the inheritance of materials. thank you

I hope there is an option "Force inheritance of original object ID" or you think it can solve this conflict.
