problem creating terrain

Hi, I was looking at jesse pitela's tutorial for the new terrain functionality, but when I load the canyon or any other preset it doesn't form any geometry, just a straight plane, I think I'm missing something

Thanks, yes...this is happening on some machines...I hope to have a fix out very soon.
