tyCollection with "By Layer" issue when renaming layers

Hi Tyson,
when renaming a layer in Layer Explorer that is used in a tyCollection with "By Layer", these layers will not be updated automaticly. I had to reassign the renamed layers by hand.

Any chance to get this fixed?

Unfortunately Max doesn't seem to have a 'layer name changed' callback (only 'layer created', 'layer deleted' and 'node layer changed')...so I have no way of tracking when a user changes a layer name...and thus, no way of updating a tyCollection's list of layers in turn. If you change a layer's name it seems the only solution is to manually update your tyCollections as well.
