Exporting as FBX
#1
Hi
I made an animation using the "tyFlow_clusterTears_001.max" example, and it works ok, so it raises a question:
how can I export the file to FBX with the animations embedded; I have tried but I've got a static mesh with no animations, the tyflow icon is visible (I was expecting it to auto-hide as the points do), I have tried as DirectX (X file) as well, with no to avail.
What am I doing wrong?

I appreciate any help you can provide. Smile

I don't think FBX as a format supports those kinds of deformations. Defer to Alembic instead.

Ty for the reply. Smile
what's the workflow to export to Alembic? does it include the animations?
I would need some plugin to export as alembic from 3dsMax 2020, can you suggest me anyone?

You don't need a plugin...Max can export Alembic natively and tyFlow has its own export in the Export Particles operator.
