Paper tearing creating unwanted individual particles seperating

Hi, I'm relatively new to TyFlow and trying to tear a square of paper out of the centre of a larger piece of paper. I'm using a weakness map that defines the shape of the tear, but no matter what I do I end up with lots of individual "particles/polygons" separating from the resulting 2 pieces of paper. Is this something that can easily be fixed?

I've attached the file for reference (and weakness map) and simplified for ease.
