Spawning new models
#1
Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble setting up a specific simulation and was wondering if someone could help.
I'm trying to recreate something similar to the example attached below (Effect_Example) where a new model spawns out of existing models.

I have a set up but I might be overcomplicating things.
I'm using an object test with an animated box to activate the second set of particles. It works but the new particles become very wild and fly around chaotically. I would like them to move a lot slower and smoother.
Maybe there is a completely different setup that would work better?

Here is the example:

Thanks for the help.
Phil

Maybe just one slow operator will help here?
There is also a spin parameter n the slow operator that you could try.

Try it, and let us know if it works.

Thanks for your suggestion. That seems to calm things down a lot.
