Possible to freeze camera projected map?
#1
Question
Hello,

is it possible to freeze a camera projection at frame 0, even if they are projected from an camera?
The UVs are consistent.

(I was struggling with RenderToTexture and BakeToTexture, it did not work for unknown reason.)

I think it's not possible within Tyflowm, just wanted to be sure...

Thanks

There is Tyflow modifier that do just that.
TyUVW_freeze.

Try it.

(If you wanna freeze on particles, you might need to add mesh operator, and disable "render only")

Thanks, meanwhile I got it solved with "camera map modifier", which distorts the UV accordingly for the texture.

I have seen the tyUVWfreeze, but this sounds like preventing UV deformation, but it is not freezing the picture, which is projected at the first frame.

Well, because I often have videos as Bg.
I often use it like this.
First I add camera map (which I assumed you already use it), so it creates UVW from the camera view.
Then I add TyUVW freeze, so it freeze just first (or any frame I want) and it stay frozen, and not play the whole video...

LOL.. now you got me question myself is I used it properly. Big Grin

But it worked so far. Smile
