Sponge X rigid body

Trying to make rigid bodies hit a sponge-like object.
Rigids are cloth as well - with max bend stiffness + angle bind.
Now two questions:
1. Can I make my rigids even more stiff, like - not bendable at all? the M is still bending a bit after hitting sponge
2. How would I make the sponge going back to it's initial shape slower - as the real sponge does? If you press it and back your finger quickly, the hole stays and slowly goes back up? Here's the exact example: https://www.instagram.com/p/CSkiHMTnD5e/
