Simulation start frame
#1
I apologize in advance for asking a basic question. I need help changing the starting frame of the simulation. I want everything to stay the same, just for the simulation to start later. I have a very simple setup that creates a chain:

Event 1 (longer chain) - Bith Objects, Phys Shape (Compound), Phys Collision (Mesh)
Event 2 (only one ring conected to chain in Event 1 with Phys Bind) - Bith Objects, Phys Shape (Convex Hull), Phys Collision (Mesh), Phys Bind (joint).

This chain behaves perfectly when simulation goes from 0-100, however, when I set the timeline to say 101-200,  simulation falls apart. In that failed simulation I tried to set the timing in Phys Shape and Phys Bind operators instead of "on event entry" to frame 101-200. Tried all options from starting penetrations with no result. Is it possible to make the simulation look the same as starting from frame zero and how? Thank you in advance.

Grab TyFlow icon, and you will see a retimer option in modify panel.
Switch to frames, turn animate on, and in the 100 frame, type 0, and in 200 frames type 100... make sure your keys are linear, so animation doesn't start and end with smooth (unless you want it)

Btw, there should be no issues, or (drastically) different sim, even if you change your birth object to 100... must be something else that got you totally different results... but anyway.. retimer is very easy to set.

Thanks for reply! With Retimer Phys Bind stopped working...
