Hello,
I'm using TYbitmap with an IFL sequence to map circles in TYFlow. I was taking the alpha channel from the IFL sequence but the alpha channel wasn't being interpreted and I ended up with solid circles. I kept the IFL in the diffuse channel (arnold material) - but changed the opacity channel to a static circular gradient ramp.
Frame 0 looks exactly like I want it to but as the particles swirl around the alpha channel starts to glitch out by frame 04 - then by frame 20 almost all of the particles have lost their alpha channel.
trying to determine if this is a bug or if there is something off in my setup.
My other issue is that the IFL is animating in sync on every particle even though I'm using the sync to UVWx value and trying to offset it randomly.
See attached renders for the degradation of the alpha channel.
Let me know if you need more info on the setup - thank you for your help,
James
