How do I do Vray distributed rendering using the Mapping Operator?
#1
Hi. I used a texture map plane using the mapping operator. I exported it from tycache. However, when I do distributed rendering with other computers, the mapping does not work. Is there a solution? Or is the mapping rendered only with one computer? I am using V-ray 6 gpu rendering. I am using the latest version Tyflow.

Sorry for my bad English.

Please be more specific about what's not working. tyFlow isn't rendering at all? The mapping coordinates are wrong? Is tyFlow installed on the other DR machines? For Vray GPU you may also need to enable the particle interface (Interfaces rollout) of the tyFlow object.

I bought a license for my main computer. My other computer has the same version of tyflow installed but only one computer has a license. If I don't use mapping, there is no problem. But when I use the mapping operator, as seen in the picture, the mapping doesn't work. (with vray distributed rendering). It's like opening uvw for each product. If I render on the main computer, it works correctly. If I add the other computer, I will save on rendering time. I may need to open something as you said, but I don't know. I get it with the standard settings it gives in Tycache export. Both machines can see the Tycache shared folder.

I still don't understand what the issue is and the screenshot doesn't make it any clearer. What's the render look like when you use DR vs non-DR?

This is exactly what it looks like. With DR, it textures each cylinder. But normally the mapping should be visible overall.

Are you rendering as meshes or instances?

When using the Export operator, I made Trimesh standard. When I look at the TyCache section, it says render instance.

In the tyCache settings try disabling 'ignore UVW overrides' in the Display rollout. I have a feeling VRay DR is maybe rendering the viewport mesh and not respecting that setting as being for the viewport only.

I tried. But it didn't work. Anyway, there doesn't seem to be a solution. I will render it with only 1 computer. Thanks.
