Follow Path
#1
Hi Guys.

Im struggling to find a solution for this thing. Ive attached a video about it. Basically I could simulate the building getting build by just adding a deflector as a collider then changing the scale parameters etc. But in reallity what I need is the particles coming following a path and THEN when its getting closer I need to get this effect I already achived. Basically I need the building coming following a path and then getting stack above each other.

I made some experiments using path follow but the results aint nice. The building its rotating around the spline and then in the end of the path the building its coming already done in its position, I couldnt figure out how to solve this. Does anybody have any light or tip to give me?

Im attaching a video about what I have now.

Thanks
Rodrigo.

You could birth your objects first. Save their TM in Custom Properties. Then position those objects somewhere in scene with Position Icon. Animate them on path. Put some collider in the end of a path. And restore their initial position through the Surface Test operator (Surface Test -> Custom Properties GET, Continuous timing).
