Application Error occurs when just creating Birth
#1
I recently made a new PC (Ryzen 9950x + RTX5090) and can use tyFlow more comfortably.

So I experimented using an old PC for network simulation. However, when I opened a scene using tyFlow, 3dsmax would terminate with an Application error.

I stopped the network simulation and performed verification. I started 3dsmax and created an empty scene. Then I created tyFlow, placed Birth in the editor, created a Birth Surface, and registered the object, but it crashed.

[PC Spec]
CPU i9 12900K
GPU Geforce RTX4090
- The version of tyFlow is 1.126.
- I re-downloaded the tyFlow CUDA file and put it in the Plugins folder.
- I reinstalled 3dsmax2024 and tried it.
I updated my nVidia drivers to the latest version (572.83) and tried the studio and game drivers but same.
- During this test, I activated the tyFlow license on this PC.

This old PC was working fine for over 6 months before I got the Ryzen machine. I don't know why this is happening. Any advice?

Thank you for your reply.
I am attaching the dump file of the 3dsmax crash report.
The form in the Error Report Details window displayed something like this:

---

Date/Time: 2025-04-05 11:08:53 +09:00
Application: 3dsmax.exe
Error: Access violation - code c0000005 (first/second chance not available)
Crashed Module Name: tyFlow_2024.dlo
Exception Address: 0x00007ffe5d4a2109
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Flags: 0
Exception Parameters: 0, 9ea3e737

---

This may be because I did not perform simulation, but I could not find tyFlow.log or the like directly under the C drive or in the tmp folder.
I also tried previous versions up to 1.118, but the results were the same.
