I recently made a new PC (Ryzen 9950x + RTX5090) and can use tyFlow more comfortably.
So I experimented using an old PC for network simulation. However, when I opened a scene using tyFlow, 3dsmax would terminate with an Application error.
I stopped the network simulation and performed verification. I started 3dsmax and created an empty scene. Then I created tyFlow, placed Birth in the editor, created a Birth Surface, and registered the object, but it crashed.
[PC Spec]
CPU i9 12900K
GPU Geforce RTX4090
- The version of tyFlow is 1.126.
- I re-downloaded the tyFlow CUDA file and put it in the Plugins folder.
- I reinstalled 3dsmax2024 and tried it.
I updated my nVidia drivers to the latest version (572.83) and tried the studio and game drivers but same.
- During this test, I activated the tyFlow license on this PC.
This old PC was working fine for over 6 months before I got the Ryzen machine. I don't know why this is happening. Any advice?
