tyDiffusion,High memory usage issue
#1
After opening tyDiffusion, without performing any operations, the memory usage gradually increases until it reaches nearly 99%. I have 64GB of memory, but it makes the computer unusable without any operation. I remember that when I used it last time (not the current tyflow version), this issue did not occur. I'm not sure what the problem is.
thanks~

I have currently the same problem. As soon as i start tyDiffusion RAM usages increases till PC freezes. Only closing 3ds Max clears the Memory again. Thx for help! Greets from Cologne, René

Hi,

I've tackled this issue for a few times and found a solution. Deleting the 'tyDiffusionSettings.XML' file in the c:\programdata\tyflow folder solves this issue. But obviously you lose your last settings. I use 3ds Max 2026 and TyFlow 1.30.

Take care.

Hi, thx a lot. This also solved the issue in my case!

Loading "Presets" from older Versions will bring the issue back!

 Happy to help.

Problem is mainly about the ControlNet systems we use. Using IPTransfer, QRCode Monster etc. triggers the 'RAM usage always goes up' issue.

In addition to deleting 'tyDiffusionSettings.xml', resetting the settings (presets) in tydiffusion usually stops the climb of ram usage but it stays where it already climbed. You need to restart 3ds Max after resetting the settings in tyDiffusion to clear the RAM again.

 Best.
