How to make tyFlow cloth behave like rigid plastic wrap (not fabric)?
#1
Hi everyone,
I’m simulating a thin sheet being peeled off a container with tyFlow cloth.
Most of the behavior works fine: the sheet sticks to the container at first and then peels off as the robot lifts it, which is what I want.
The only issue is the final stage: once the sheet is fully lifted, it still behaves too much like hanging fabric, forming soft folds.
Ideally, I’d like it to look more like a rigid sheet of paper or plastic wrap – keeping its shape with sharper creases instead of draping like cloth.
Any suggestions on stiffness settings, solver choice, or mesh setup to achieve that rigid look after lifting?

Maybe an easy solution would be just adding slow operator, and in it's timing option, enable at which frame you want to be activated.

Thanks
Yes, I already placed one that starts in the uploaded video around frame 100; it works. Maybe I will increase his percentage. In the end, the robot drops the paper in a bin, so probably no one will notice anything unpleasant
