Turn geometery to sand

Hello everyone
I have a geometery and i want to turn it to sand and then wind turn it to dust
Actually i want to start turning my shape to sand from a corner and then wind starts to take it in the air 
But i don't want to turn all of the shape to the sand at once
It shoul gradually turning and disappearing
Any tutorials on that???
