VDB particleUVW color
#1
Hello, I have Question.

I recall that in the past, when generating a VDB using “Particle to SDF,” I was able to change the VDB’s color to match the particle’s color changes using the “Particle UVW” option in “VDB Modify,” but it seems that this is no longer possible in the current version 2010.
Has the procedure changed in any way?
Tyson Ibele, Thank you in advance.                                                                                                   masa

The naming has changed "UVW" grids are now just a type of "vector" grids. But all the same functionality should still be there.

Yes, I see.
Where should I make changes in this file that was uploaded previously?

I've tried various things on my own, but I just can't seem to get it right.

Oh actually, this appears to be a bug - VDB Modify is working correctly when the vector grid name is specified correctly, but the VDB Mesh operator is trying to transfer legacy UVW grid values over even though everything is now stored in vector grids.

Will be fixed in the next build. In the meantime, reverting to tyFlow v2.006 should restore old behavior.

I felt a little relieved to know that my failure to do this wasn’t due to a lack of effort on my part.
Thank you for your thoughtful response. I’m sorry for taking up your time when you’re so busy.
