Inferno simulation question
#1
Hi.
I have two questions

1. I want to try using it as a substitute for phoenixfd, but the speed isn’t being resolved.
Time scale 1 is basically very slow motion.

2. It seems that emitter is not recognizing the shape when using objects.
In the case of phoenixfd, if the emit mode from the source is used as a surface force, the shape is recognized.
1 would like to know if there is such an option in tyflow as well.

I’m attaching the file.
Please fill my shortcomings.

The shape is recognized, but the problem is how it's being sourced in. My guess is you are thinking because it's outside the sphere it's therefore wrong? It needs to be more accurate?
There are quite a few things to help with it.
1. Set it to volume. Setting it to triangles has it source from the surface of the geometry and by default it's set to "Below/Above" which means it samples both outside and inside the sphere. Setting it to volume with an emission thickness of 0 will help with this. Or triangles set to "Below only"
2. Set to accurate mode emission quality. If you need picture perfect quality do "Accurate" sourcing, though doing simple tests with this makes it seem like accurate is NOT what you want as it's super slow. Just reduce the size of your sphere with a push modifier to shrink in my normals when sourcing your geo.
3. Reducing voxel size. Reducing voxel size will help with the accuracy of the shape.

So in all, setting to volume, emission thickness of 0, reducing voxel size, Softening the emission, AND reducing your noise amplitude from 10 to say 5 will help control how far in the temperature goes into the sphere.
Hope this helps
