lock cache

maybe there is a way to do this already, but if not, a "lock cache" option would be useful .

for example in my scene,  i have a pile of modifiers on my mesh which are needed for particle generation, but kill viewport playback speed.

id love to be able to sim my particles, turn off those modifiers, and play it back.

as it is, if i turn off the modifiers, tyflow tries to resimulate.

i know i could bake out to prt or tycache files, but a simple tickbox would same a lot of fiddling, and allow us to make full use of the tyflow ram cache.

I´m gonna top this...how about per event lock cache? In a long flow with lots of consecutive events, It would be great if I wouldn´t have to cache the same 500 frames over and over again for fine tuning an event only happening after those 500 frames...

good idea!  a little padlock icon at the top of each event, or maybe a right click option, "lock event"  or "lock all"

no idea what issues there may be with a feature like this.

A better solution to a constantly resetting sim is on the roadmap, no ETA though.
