hey there,
I´m having a bit of a creative block here....
I´m trying to create a setup where particles grow out of a sphere and then bind together to form strings.
They could grow either via spawn by travel, growth or branch. I can get the strings growing (there is that demo scene from tyson for starters) and binding together without trouble.
What I can´t figure out for some reason is how to
1) Bind ONLY the birth particles to the birth surface.
2) Bind all subsequent particles to the birth particles AND their next sibling, so that the strings not only grow, but are attached to the birth surface and move with it.
Should be a simple task but for some reason I keep getting stuck here... Any ideas?
