Lights as particles

It would be awesome to be able to use omni lights as particles, with falloff and intensity settings.

Maybe this could be built into the shape operator?

It seems that we can only export particles to use lights at the moment.

Just apply a light material to your particles, for whatever renderer you're using. For example, VRayLightMtl in VRay.

would like the same but having spotlights driven by particles.
so a light material won't do it.

We were hoping for lights in this case as LightMaterial is noisy and Falloff can't be controlled.

for my scene i needed less than 50 lights. so i exported a point helper for every light (particle) and linked with "clone and align..." an instance of that light the helpers.
