attach something to end of rope?

I am a complete beginner to Tyflow, how can I attach an object or helper to the end of a pending rope (which I already simulated and which moves pretty much like I want) ? Ideally it would move exactly with the end segment of the it was stitched with a skin wrap modifyer..

I tried Link to Target, Particle Bind, PhysX Bind - none of these I got to work.. any hints?
okay, solved after a little bit of guessing ..with Surface Test I could split off the end piece and that could be exported to an object with baked animation, which I could then attach things to.. perfect!
