EXPORT tymesher to maya

Hello i tryed to export my tymesher composed of 4 animated polygons (no particles) but nothing works. 
My alembic (in maya) doesn't play the animation.

Did i need to make something more before export ?

Ok i find a solution, by putting an edit poly on top of my tymesher, alembic now exports the animation.
Take care the file is bigger !!

Hi,

I was searching for a way to export ABC from tyMesher, and I found your post, but when I apply and Edit Poly modifier on top of TyMesher everything disappear.
Can you please provide some more info about the correct procedure?
I'm trying to export a tyMeshed particle animation to an ABC sequence without any luck so far.
