Hello All,
I want to make something similar to the attached picture, a flying creature that generates whimsical fluid like trails
from its wings.
Would this be possible with Tyflow?

I think this might be hard to do using ONLY tyflow - usually plugins like Phoenix FD or fume FX are used to create these whispy fluid / smoke sims.
Having said that I guess you could try emitting a lot of small particles with motion blur and together with some comp magic you might be able to get a nice looking result.

definitly not as good as your image, but it looks similar, by utilizing cluster and cluster force and some turbulence wind force.
