VDB from Phoenix - remKa - 04-12-2023 Hello Tyson, I started a thread about it in the facebook's discussion, could you tell me if you are facing the same problem : I can't figure out how to load a VDB sequence made in Phoenix FD to a VDB setup in tyflow, the last thing I tried is to set "Temperature_phx" in the Density grid, but it doesn't work at all, nothing is showing up... Thank you in advance, Remy RE: VDB from Phoenix - tyFlow - 04-12-2023 Post a few frames of your Phoenix cache and I'll take a look. Sure, here you go : https://filevert.fr/d/2t_5B_s_5D_Dl9T+UZT1Svb5ISI= Thank you, Rémy RE: VDB from Phoenix - tyFlow - 04-13-2023 Hey, thanks for the file. The data is loading fine (Temperature_phx to density is the correct name conversion)...you just need to convert the VDB data to SDF from density, or add a Display VDB operator to see it. Attached is a file showing how to load it in and convert to SDF (for mesh generation). Note: I set the flow to history-independent in this file for faster processing. Rémy I have an other issue from a Phoenix FD simulation : When I load a VDB sequence and I add a filter I get some bugs... please see attached files and a few frames from the sequence. https://filevert.fr/d/2t_5B_s_5D_Cl93+XsWkGfL5cnU= |
