Big numbers of particles workflow

Hello everyone.

I use tyflow pro

I find myself often working on simulation of many particles for showing what the clients need an I wish to improve my skill to optimize my workflow.
Some example of old job:

I wish i could make my particles more small and similar to dust but at the same time I need to feel precise volume.

If you know some tutorial for this kind of practical use I will apreciate.

I think even with this results, result might look nicer if you just add motion blur on particles.
If you're bored of waiting for render to handle motion blur, there's nice After Effects plugin "Real Smart Motion Blur" that you can use.

Apart from that... yeah.. many ways you can try and create nice workflow for this.
Have you seen the upress official sample file?
It uses low res simulation, then "in second pass" it multiplies particles, it adds additional physics, and all that works pretty fast.

So.. Birth flow and Flow update combo (in another flow) is your friend here.
First do a low res Tyflow, then use Birth Flow Flow update on another TyFlow referencing that flow (quick tip - right click on the empty space on editor and choosing create simple reference flow will do that automatically for you).
And from there, you can play with particles however you want.
Sometimes, it might be enough just to spawn 10 particles out of each particles, use spread operator that will spread them randomly on every direction, and use scale to make them smaller.
