Is the option "Eable Vray Interface" of TyCache objects necessary?

Hi guy~
I want to know if I  disable the option " Enable Vray Interface" in the 
tycache will cause any problem?

Because I turn on the "Enable Vray Interface" that will let my vray can't  rendering tycache, I must turn it off.
But I fear that will cause other problem.
