[newbe] cloth-balls don't bounce back

Hi, probably a newbe-question (as i am a newbe at tyflow):



I am trying to animate 4 squishy balls, packed together in a caterpiller-like movement. (left on the jpg)


If the geospheres don't touch, everything works fine. But if they do touch they seem fairly rigid. (right on the jpg)
I played with the setting but i can't figure it out.... Help?  what am i doing wrong?
