It's true that sibling relationships aren't transferred over...so what you'll want to do is instead convert that sibling data into target data. Use a Set Target operator in your pink flow, set the mode to siblings and then in your blue flow, connect the lightning by target data. Make sure to enable custom float caching in your pink flow.
