houdini like reuse node system subnet and hda
Could you describe how a re-use node system works? I'm not that familiar with Houdini.
In tyFlow you can use a Birth Flow and Update Flow operator to create particles from another flow. So in that sense, you can create a base flow, and re-use it elsewhere however you want. When you update the base flow, all the dependent flows will update too. You can create cascading simulations this way.
I think preset flow should do.
I think he want to save some node setup and want to reuse in other files.
Oh I see.
tyFlows are fully self contained (excluding any external objects you reference in your flow). Saving/loading a flow is as simple as selecting it and then choosing "File->Save selected..." from the main max menu and then merging that flow in elsewhere.
I mean.. not the entire flow setup.
Let's say... I have 5 even in a tyFlow object.
I want to save only 2 event and load in other tyFlow object.
Right now you can copy events/operators between tyFlows within the same scene...however you're right, there's no way to save subsets of a flow and load it again later directly like that.
I've added it to the todo list.
