Render TyCache across network
#1
Hey all,

I'm trying to find a workflow or tutorial for this but so far my searches are turning up empty.

I have a scene where a few objects smash up through the ground using TyFlow for the particle work.  It's naturally all physics based and when I rendered it across network with Vray, all the particles kept jumping from frame to frame because I forgot to take into account that the simulations would run different on each PC.

So I have run export particles and have a network directory full of tycache files.  Where do I go from here?

I can't see an obvious method of getting tyflow to read the cache files and send them to each PC in the farm.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks

As long as the cache files are on a network share that all machines can see, you shouldn't need to individually transfer them to each render node.
