TySelect Shrink and Soft Select Problem

It appears if you use a negative value in "grow/shrink" in the TySelect modifier with Soft Select ON and set to linear distance the selection does not shrink.  If you turn Soft Select off or set it to Edge Distance then it shrinks correctly.  I've tested this with both Gizmo and Mesh selector types and using Vertex selection mode.
