Voronoi Fracture / Vray Edge Texture
#1
Hi all,

thank You Tyson, once more for this awesome tool! It's so much fun to work/play with.

I'm making a 80's arcade style animation with lots of voronoi destruction and ran into an issue here.

I gave my objects the Vray Edge texture for the wireframe glow, but as soon as I set the voronoi fracture operator on the meshes,
the texture is also showing the cuts between the indivdual voronoi particles.

Is there any way to fracture objects and hide those cuts with the edge texture?
This is roughly what I try to achieve:

I hope my question is understandable, thanks all in advance...

best regards

I'd say, just use different mat ID for the cuts.
If you scroll bellow into voronoi operator, you will see that you can easily assign different mat ID just for the cuts.
So, you can assign it, for example to 2.
Then you create multisub material, and in first material you use vray edge map, and in the second material, you don't use it.
