[newbe] cloth-balls don't bounce back

Hi, probably a newbe-question (as i am a newbe at tyflow):



I am trying to animate 4 squishy balls, packed together in a caterpiller-like movement. (left on the jpg)


If the geospheres don't touch, everything works fine. But if they do touch they seem fairly rigid. (right on the jpg)
I played with the setting but i can't figure it out.... Help?  what am i doing wrong?

What do your Object Bind settings look like? You don't want to use Sticky mode if you're using it on cloth...

ah, that did the trick. it was indeed set to 'sticky'

"Linear" increases the size for frame 0 to 1 a bit, but my problem has be solved in 1 sentence  
i play around with settings/dymamicmode

thank you tyFlow for this advice and from tyflow as a whole

(offcourse i have follow-up questions, like "how to put size in relation to the object-bind length with maxscript" orso... but for now, many thanks)
