Changing material of Cloth mesh mid simulation
Hello there.
I'm doing cloth simulation (a lot of separate cloth meshes) and I want to change colours of some cloth pieces when they achieve specific velocity. However I'm not sure, how should I go about this, since the cloth meshes aren't particles themselves.
Have you tried with Tymesher?
Maybe it's possible with it.

Another idea is that you do it in post.
Render particles (as a small boxes), as a separate pass, then blur it, and then subtract it (with track mate) with alpha of your cloth render.
