In X-Particles there is a dynamics operator called 'flowfield' which is really nice to art-direct particles.
I found it especially useful to have particles follow the direction of a spline without them attracted to it (something I have not yet figured out how to do with Tyflow)
There are many other 'Mograph' style animation you can create with this so called 'flowfield' and I would love to have a similar feature in Tyflow ;-)
