Hi,
I am using the up res technique to populate a higher res flow from a lower res flow. It works but I find that when the low res particles are moved about by colliding with another object, a lot the high res particles get separated from the low res particles parents, and that leaves "holes" in the accumulated piles of high res particles. I have experimented with the different settings on the Particle Force operator, but none seem to improve the situation. I have also tried increasing the high res particle count by a factor of 20x, but the "holes" still happen, although a bit smaller. I would expect that the smaller high res particles would "cling" to the low res particle parent to form a clustering of particles to a certain extent in order to prevent these holes, but this is not happening. These holes make it appear that some of the high res particles are floating versus sitting in a pile on top of each other. Has anyone got any advice on how to improve this?
thanks
