License renewal shop link ??
#1
Hi there,

We have 7 TyFlow pro licenses that are about to expire end of this month.
How can we renew using the discounted $295 price?
We don't see an option for that in the shop or basket.

Thanks,
Greg

Hi Greg,

You will be sent an automated email 15 days before your licenses expire, with renewal instructions. From that point, licenses can be renewed from within your account (pro.tyflow.com/account) by clicking the renewal button(s) in the 'license keys' tab and then proceeding to checkout. Your account will also display how many days are left in your renewal grace period before the keys are fully expired.

Hey Tyson,

thanks for the quick reply.

May I suggest - if you would be interested of course - to switch the licensing from renewal to subscription based?
The reason behind, is that our company - and I presume other companies - need justification before they allow any renewal to happen on licenses and this is a PITA for us every time to have to convince Procurement. Where, with a subscription model, the updates are handled automatically, no questions asked. So, this would make our lives much easier, that's all.

Now, one question that came up prior the renewal process from my manager, was this:
If we don't get approval for renewal at this time, do the licenses we have remain as PRO in the current version, or they revert to a FREE status?

We will renew, don't get me wrong, and the strongest justification we could use for the Procurement, is that we will loose support and maintenance, if not.
But, just so we know what will happen to our current licenses.

Hi Greg,

I don't have plans for implementing a subscription model at the moment.

As for what happens after your licenses expire: your licenses are permanent, meaning you'll have access to the PRO versions of tyFlow released within a year of your original purchase, perpetually. You won't be reverted to FREE mode for those versions. You'll only lose access to PRO features in future updates if you choose not to renew and also wish to upgrade your tyFlow version. So, for example, you can use v1.000 to v1.014 PRO forever...but if I release v1.015 after your maintenance expires and you do not renew, you'll only be able to use that version in FREE mode. Hope that makes sense.

Yes, that's perfectly clear!
Most likely we'll renew; it's just the inconvenience we have to go through and justify this again...

Thanks for everything!
