Birth PRT
#1
Hi.

Max 2023. 1.017.

1. I created a simple particle system with a few particles that falls to the ground.
2. Exported as PRT sequence.
3. Have installed the latest Krakakoa PRT Loader
4. Load tyflow exported PRT sequence in PRT loader. Looks perfect in the viewport, animated, everything good.
5. Create tyflow object.
6. Birth PRT, select the PRT Loader.

Now it turns bad: Particles are birthed but is stuck in the frame they were born in. So They appear on the frame they are born but is not updated afterwards.
If i select the "New particles only" -> Particles are born correctly but adds a new particle for each frame so it ends up looking like a trail of particles.
If i limit the range to e.g., start and end at frame 50 i get frame 50 that looks perfect -> the information is there.

So i can get it to look basically every way but correct.

Here is a test scene with PRT sequence:

Birth PRT only does that - births the particles.

Add a PRT Update operator as well to update those birthed particles over time.

I see. I will try.

I saw i can also change the Simulation Mode to History Independent - is that also an acceptable solution or does it have some negative effects?
