Ive been trying to use Marvellous Designer for some larger scale objects and whilst its pretty good its really quite slow to work with because its constantly synchronising and rebuilding cloth even when youre not simulating.
Id love to see a tycloth setup with a super stripped down feature set of MD whereby you can convert edge selections to seams (and can control their support via crease controls), The ability to add stitch lines based on edge selections, the ability to add pins and fix stuff in place etc. Something that means i dont have to be an expert in the tyflow node based approach and just sort of works how youd expect.
Alternatively, Id pay for a completely separate product that was focussed on cloth sim for artists based on the tyflow core.
