I do terrain and roads with large spline shape, then I subdivde them, then I tyconform them on a editpoly which is turbosmoothed. :-)
The problem is when there is a lot of roads and terrains, when I want to modify the editpoly on which they are conformed, it is very slow.
So I deactivate tyconform modifier.
But if it is faster it is still slow. If I deactivate subdivide modifier, it is faster.
It look like Tyconform is "active" somehow even if it is deactived.
Hope it make sense.

[EDIT] : It look like this happen with scenes with a lot ( a lot ) of objects.
If I isolate just my terrain objects, it is smooth.
