1.113 occasionally not rendering with Redshift
#1
Hi,

this might be a tricky one to track down, but I'm occasionally getting a tyflow scene refusing to render with Redshift - no error, just does not render.

I reverted back to 1.110 and the same scene renders?

Max 2022, Redshift 3.6.03

Thanks,

Steve

Unless it's producing a meaningful error message that I could use to debug, you'd have to take this to the RS devs.

To clarify: RS doesn't render anything? Doesn't even begin the render process, or produces a black frame? Or just doesn't render tyFlow elements of a scene (while other objects are visible)?

Hi,

It doesn't even seem to render.

I'll reinstall 1.113 and see if the RS logs say anything.

Thanks,

Steve

Very weird, now it renders with 1.113...

Will keep an eye out, see if I can reproduce it in future.

I'm getting the same behavior with Tycaches. Half of them render no problem. Half of them just refuse to.

Open the file in workstation mode on machines not rendering to confirm rendering works locally.

Some users in the past have had issues with Deadline not properly loading plugins from the default Max plugin folder…perhaps that is the cause.
