Question.
I am recording what I want to do in a simple scene.
I would like to simulate it on a low mesh, take a cache, and then use an override to replace the result with a high mesh.
However, when I do the replacement, the mesh is randomly replaced. The result would be the same even if I gave it the same name.
How can I get the same shape?
Right now it is a simple scene, but I am retopologizing a complex high mesh object and creating proxies to break it up. The contours are the same in both cases but when I change to high mesh, the result is different and time consuming.
I simply want to cache the result of the proxy mesh in a lighter state and replace it with the high mesh.
