Krakatoa / Frost support
#1
Hi

I was playing with tyFlow and I tried to hook it up Frost from ThinkBox. Sometimes I use it to liquefy the shapes of particles in PFlow. And it seems to not recognize tyFlow. Is it because of ThinkBox and because tyFlow is new not supported or do I need some specific procedure in tyflow.

I also tried to create some PRTs in Krakatoa It could be a mistake on my side but it didn't save anything - empty PRT. I need millions of particles sometimes.

Basically my question is does tyFlow support Krakatoa, Frost, PRTs - (thinkBox products)

tyFlow and Krakatoa/Frost are all compatible.

To get Frost to import a tyFlow as particles: enabled the particle interface in the tyFlow.

To get Krakatoa to render tyFlow: enable geo rendering in Krakatoa, turn *off* the particle interface in tyFlow, assign a Mesh operator to the events you want to render and set the mode to "vertex cloud".

To export to PRT: put an Export Particles operator in the events you want to export (or place it in its own event if you want it to export all particles) and set mode to PRT.

Awesome. Everything works very well. I don't even need to do my PRTs in Krakatoa GUI (which is not too artistic friendly).
Thanks
