Possible Bug - Multifracture Op Input Rollout
#1
G'Day Tyson

5 Boxes - 3 @ 5x5x1 cm, 1 @ 10x10x1 cm, 1 @2x2x1 cm

Edit poly 1 of them - attach other 4 as elements, now one model with 5 elements

tyflow MF Operator, Input rollout - turn on per element fracture - Max 2024 crashes

even tried with 2 boxes, max crashes as soon as you turn on the per element check box.

Max 2023 all worked ok - max 2024 crashed 5 times every time I tried.

I don't know what to tell you mate

New Day, New ?

I just went it to do that for you and now it works, yesterday it crashed 5 times - If it happens again, I will get the info you need.

Maybe when I shut down overnight and started up, I don't know.  But as of this moment, it works in 2024.

Sorry

The minidump should still be on your drive from the previous crash, assuming no other crashes happened in the meantime. If it's still there, send it my way and it may reveal the cause.

The 3dsmax.exe.xxxx.dmp file is approx 950 meg. (4 of them ea 900+ meg)

I just deleted them. its too big for me to UL.  I will reset everything here and see if I can repeat it.

You're not looking at the right dump file - it should be around 7mb. More info here: https://docs.tyflow.com/feedback/bugs
